After a lot of pondering, I've decided to get rid of this journal. Believe me, it has helped out tremendously & I will be forever grateful for all of the support that everyone has given to me, but I really have too much going on right now (not necessarily "bad") to keep up with everyone on a regular basis. Over the next few days, I will be going through entries & clearing off my friends list.
I'm not going to be completely off EL-Jay Land, though .... if you would like to know what's going on with my wedding plans for next year, feel free to add celtic_wedding to your friends list. I don't update that one a whole lot (at least try to once a month), but I can at least check out my friends' page to see how everyone is doing. Right now, it may not be more than twice a day, but I will check out what's up with everyone. If I don't add you back right away, it's only because I am extremely busy with college, family and/or my fitness goals. It's getting harder to maintain my GPA, plan a wedding, and keep up with the three dudes in this household! LOL

I'm not that religious (spiritual, perhaps) these days, but I do pray for you.
I think it's a bit sad that you continue to hang on to the grudge that you have had for me, and some of the people on my friends list, for months now. Really, is that the way you want to live your life ...reading the entries of your so-called enemies, badmouthing them when they couldn't care less what you write about?
I have to admit that I find humor in it. Why? Because my life is on the right track ...so much so, that I don't have time to dwell on the negative past. Have I talked about it recently? Yes, because some of my friends have been hurt and I offered my support.
However...
fanning the flames of a feud fire doesn't make anyone the better person.
It just means that people will continue to burn, in the worst way imaginable.
Enjoy this life ...as I found out the hard way when I was 19, you never know when it will be taken from you.
Since I am a bit of a cheapskate & don't want to plunk down $40 for an official wedding planner binder, I decided to make a journal specifically for my wedding plans. Things such as links that I find interesting will be in public view; personal details will be friends only. I may not update it every single day, but you can at least keep up with what we are planning to do.

I am highly amused at the "gas price battle" between the Shell and Exxon gas stations a block away from my apartment.
A couple of weeks ago, the LOWEST price for a regular gallon of gas was just over $3. I know that's cheaper than other parts of the union, but work with me on this.
I am almost convinced those two stations keep a close eye on each other. Luckily, the consumer benefits from this. In the morning, it's usually the Shell station that has the lowest price. After I have dropped off the boys at their schools, I notice that one of the Exxon employees is changing the price for their gas so that they have the lowest prices. This happens almost every day. If I happen to go to, say, Wal-Mart in the afternoon (have to pass the stations to get to it), Shell prices are a few cents cheaper again. So now, they are both hovering around $2.77 a gallon for regular, but I don't expect that to last long.
.... especially if I get devious enough to mention to both stations that down the way (on the road to Marcus' school), the little hole-in-the-wall gas station is usually $0.05 cheaper than both of them at all times! >;-)
